Back from just one and a half day of hall camp and I'm already sooooo tired. :( I am really growing old. Shall update about France for my Europe trip and head to bed early! The highlight in France is none other than... EIFFEL TOWER! We first did our shopping in France too. There was a sale at H&M :D Hehehe.

Arc de Triomphe. You're allowed to go all the way to the top for a nice view of the city! We didnt go up due to time constraints.
Said shopping spree happened here! This is a popular shopping street in Paris :D
And of course, we couldnt wait to see the Eiffel Tower! So we headed down at night on the first day to catch the lights :D
We were actually pretty far from it hehe. But nothing could stop us from feeling excited! Afterall, its the Eiffel Tower!! People were running across the road excitedly to take photos too hehhe.
Second Day~ Pont Des Arts :) Love locks!! A really nice sight. One day I'll come back with GT to hang our lock too! A silly but sweet symbol of everlasting love. Hehe I'm a romanticist.

Super huge De Louvre Musuem. Apparently you needs months to finish walking every inch of this museum! It used to be a palace.
The famous pyramid! Hehe.
And of course, Mona Lisa! We went to the museum specifically to see this original painting of the Mona Lisa. We spent twenty mins looking for this painting, and left the museum ten mins later. Hehe.
It was a .. disappointment? I expected the painting to be HUGE and AWE-INSPIRING but I should have done my research first. My head seems bigger than the painting haha shit.
Headed to... Eiffel Tower after that! It was really really magnificent up close. I can stare at the building for hours, really. Cue the many shots of the tower. And yes, it really does smell of pee ><

Third Day~ The garden in Versailles! Wanted to go to the palace too but the queue was insanely long.

Met up with mx's cousin who very kindly took us to local popular cafes! She has been staying in Paris for the past 4 years, alone! Respect. She's the same age as me. Haha. We had really good duck confit as recommended by her! Took a groupshot only to be photobombed by this French dude. Love how open and friendly they are :D
Where we had the duck confit! They seem to be more open towards allowing pets into their restaurants too! This cat was just right beside me while I ate my food. Harmless, thankfully. :P

Paris was quite boring though. Other than the Eiffel Tower and Mona Lisa, we had nothing else that was memorable. Only remember visiting countless of museums and large monuments, which we didnt enter. Hehe not a museum person :P After Paris, we never stepped into another museum for the rest of our Europe trip again :P
